Cyber Recovery is similar to DR, but addresses different risks, investment criteria, organizational impacts and recovery scenarios. Like DR, the enterprise must account for the effects of a destructive cyberattack relative to an existing or new business impact analysis. However there are numerous fundamental differences, but two stand out. Firstly, CR does not assume that an entire data center facility, infrastructure, applications and data has been destroyed. Instead, CR focuses on operational recovery at an application level.
